Kiwis at Birds Ferry Lodge

We have been inundated with Kiwis calling at night over the last few weeks. Just 10m for Birds Ferry Lodge-Luxury B&B accommodation West Coast New Zealand we photographed these Kiwi probe holes today. This is how the Kiwi finds food by "digging" a hole with its long pointed beak leaving this deep hole behind which we have photographed.
